The band will take the field between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, followed by the awards ceremony at 4:30 PM.

Decorating the buses before our final competition is one of our favorite traditions—

Stick around after drop-off on November 8th to decorate the buses for our final competition and cheer on the students as they load up and drive away! Families are encouraged to create a poster (consider including: your student's name, instrument, and photos) and bring balloons and/or streamers. Let's send them off in style!

⭐️ Xavier (Rico) Gonzalez ⭐️
Leadership doesn't always come with a title, and Xavier "Rico" Gonzalez is a perfect example of that! Rico consistently leads by example through his dedication, work ethic, and positive attitude in both marching band and symphonic band. Whether he's the first one hustling back to his dot on the field, ready to play before anyone else, or asking thoughtful questions during rehearsal, Rico demonstrates what it means to be an engaged and committed musician.
Rico's dedication and willingness to improve have made him a stronger musician and someone our younger students look up to. Beyond his work ethic, Rico is simply a joy to be around. He brings energy, humor, and enthusiasm to every rehearsal, never misses an opportunity to make someone laugh, and helps make our band a welcoming and fun place to be.
Rico might also be the biggest Emmaus football fan in the stands every Friday night! If you've never heard his play-by-play commentary during a football game, you're missing out! Rico reminds us that some of the most influential leaders are those who make everyone around them better, both as musicians and as people. Thank you, Rico, for your incredible growth, hard work, enthusiasm, and the positive impact you have on our band family.
