We’re hosting a Trunk-or-Treat to welcome 3rd graders interested in playing an instrument and current 4th–8th grade band students!
Our goal is simple: show the younger kids just how much fun high school band can be. Let’s make this an awesome recruitment event and inspire the next generation of musicians!

Posters
We invite parents to stick around after the band meeting on November 5th to make posters for their student! We will supply the poster paper, some green and gold construction paper, tape runners, scissors, markers, and we will have a Cricut available to print lettering for student names. You may want to consider bringing along photos of your student or instrument-specific pictures. These posters will be hung in the bus on Nov. 8 before the students leave.

Bus Decorating
Stick around at drop-off on Nov. 8 and help us decorate the buses before the kids leave for Nationals! We'll hang the posters on the buses for the students and decorate each bus with streamers. Once the students are ready to leave, we'll cheer them on and wish them good luck!
End of Season Celebration
Help the students celebrate their hard work with a hot chocolate and cookie bar! Mr. K will play The Wizard of Oz for students in the band room while they get ready. We're looking for baked goods donations — hot chocolate can be dropped off at the Nov. 5th meeting (so we can prepare it for the 8th), and baked goods can be dropped off with students on Nov. 8.
Join us for a fun night of BINGO, prizes, and support for EHS Band!
