Chaperones Needed: Mr. Koppenol is looking for two chaperones to assist during the event (12:45 PM – 2:15 PM).

Catch the Marching Band at USBands Championships!
Mark your calendars! Our marching band is heading to the USBands Championships on Sunday, November 8th. The band will take the field between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, followed by the awards ceremony at 4:30 PM. Come on out, wear your school colors, and cheer on our talented performers.
Bus Decorating
Decorating the buses before our final competition is one of our favorite traditions—
Help Us Send Off the Band in style!
Stick around after drop-off on November 8th to decorate the buses for our final competition and cheer on the students as they load up and drive away! Families are encouraged to create a poster (consider including: your student's name, instrument, and photos) and bring balloons and/or streamers. Let's send them off in style!

Nick has started the 26-27 school year by demonstrating outstanding leadership and taking initiative throughout the band program. He has played an important role in getting our small chamber ensembles up and running by helping coordinate homeroom rehearsal schedules, finding music, organizing musicians, and making sure groups are prepared to rehearse.
Nick has also taken on an important behind-the-scenes role with our marching band uniforms. Before and after performances, he helps distribute and collect uniforms and makes sure they are properly folded, hung, and cared for so they remain in great condition for years to come.
Nick’s willingness to step up, stay organized, and help his fellow musicians is a great example of the kind of leadership that makes our band program successful. Thank you, Nick, for your continued contributions to the band program.

We’re hosting a Trunk-or-Treat to welcome 3rd graders interested in playing an instrument and current 4th–8th grade band students!
Our goal is simple: show the younger kids just how much fun high school band can be. Let’s make this an awesome recruitment event and inspire the next generation of musicians!
